Open-world isometric roleplaying game (RPG) "Seven: The Days Long Gone" has recently released a demo for those interested in trying the game for free. Created for hesitant buyers who are interested in the game, but not quite sure if they would enjoy it, the demo gives players a feel for the game's in-game mechanics while revealing glimpses of the characters, art, and the game's narrative.

The game's demo includes the entirety of the prologue level, giving players ample time to jump into the shoes of master thief Teriel. Players will be able to test the game's combat, magic, stealth, and climbing mechanics in the demo, to see if the game's controls are something they enjoy. The free demo for both games can be found on both "Seven: The Day's Long Gone's" Steam and GOG pages.

The Demo and Patch 1.0.7 were released on the same day, and the news was published on Steam on Jan. 23. The announcement read: "We are happy to announce the release of Seven: The Days Long Gone Demo, that includes the entire prologue level in which players can experience the most important gameplay aspects: fighting, magic, sneaking and disguises. At the same time, we would like to announce the release of 1.0.7 patch for Seven: The Days Long Gone..."

The announcement went on to thank players for their continued support, before throwing in a list of the changes brought in by patch 1.0.7. Mostly, the patch improved on the game's combat, NPC reactions, disguise mechanics, hearing mechanics, and other technical aspects of the game.

Updates and demos aside, "Seven: The Days Long Gone" will be 30 percent off until Jan. 30 – the limited time offer includes both the collector's edition of the game and all the downloadable content (DLC).

Released on Dec. 1, 2017, "Seven: The Days Long Gone" focuses on Teriel after a heist gone wrong. The master thief is taken to the prison island of Peh, and to make matters worse, there is a demon inside his head. Players will have to use all their cunning and wit to ensure that Teriel leaves the island in one piece.
