Kala (Tina Desai) will prove a vital part of the cluster in "Sense8" season 2 as she leads the search for the evil sensate Whisper (Terrence Mann).

Speaking to Buzzfeed, Desai said that her character's "scientific knowledge," which served as her major contribution to the group, will be out to greater use in "Sense8" season 2 as they go after Whispers.

"Going forward, she'll only be able to contribute more, because in this season, there's more of Whisper hunting us while we're simultaneously trying to hunt him," Desai teased.

Kala's knowledge will definitely make it easier for Nomi (Jamie Clayton), who will use her hacking skills to bring the world closer to hers. This should make it easier to track Whisper.

In addition, there will be a lot going on for Kala in "Sense8" season 2 in the love department as well, with the love triangle with Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) and Rajan (Purab Kohli).

Kala is in love with the former but her engagement with the latter due to fixed marriage is hindering the two to be together. However, judging from the photo above, Kala and Wolfgang will be intimate in "Sense8" season 2.

As for Sun (Doona Bae), the sensate will be hell-bent with revenge in "Sense8" season 2 after learning the heartbreaking truth about the murder of her father.

"This season, she's getting stronger... as a weapon and she's finding a way for revenge. In season 1, she was quite confused and she was growing up," Bae said.

"But by the end of the season, she realized something, and in season 2 she just drives fast for something," she went on to say.

Meanwhile, in a Gold Derby interview, "Sense8" creator J. Michael Straczynski promised that there season 2 will provide answers to the questions raised in the first season.

"Sense8" season 2 is still in production, with the cast and crew hopping from one country to another. The show is expected to return on Netflix early next year.
