Will Mellie (Bellamy Young) be in trouble in the next episode of "Scandal" season 4?

In the episode titled "It's Good to Be Kink," Mellie's perfect image — one that she has been trying to build in order to succeed ruling the White House after her husband's term — is in danger of getting shattered. This is because her sister Harmony, portrayed by "True Blood" actress Lauren Bowles, suddently decides to drop by. Elizabeth (Portia de Rossi) is also concerned about Harmony's visit since she and the First Lady have been working extra hard to polish her reputation and avoid any issues that could be detrimental to her political aspirations.

During the PaleyFest panel interview, Young talked about the arrival of her character's sister, saying, "I can say it will be a dark day for Mellie. That is not going to go down well. Anyone who's trying that hard to appear as perfect as Mellie is definitely trying to hide a world of trauma from everyone."

But what could Harmony actually say that might destroy Mellie's character and ruin her future political career?

Meanwhile, Olivia Pope (Kerri Washington) has her own reputation protection problem in the same episode.

"Girls" star Lena Dunham, a self-confessed "Scandal" fan, appears in the episode as a young gossip writer who wrote a book that could expose the biggest and darkest bedroom secrets of some of the most prominent White House officials. Olivia has to do everything to make sure that the book never gets published, and even threatens the geeky writer that she will destroy her should the book come out.

The official synopsis for "Scandal" season 4 episode 16 reads:

"Olivia is going to spring into action when she hears of a woman intending to expose sex secrets of some of DC's most elite. In the meantime, Elizabeth is going to fear that Mellie's sister could be detrimental to their political aspirations."

The episode is slated to be aired on Thursday, March 19.
