Not long after its live images were leaked, Samsung's unannounced flip phone thought to be the W2018 was spotted in a new hands-on video. The footage, which first surfaced on the Chinese social network Weibo prior to being uploaded on YouTube, reveals the smartphone's exterior design complete with dual screens and a numeric physical keypad.

As seen from the video below, the first half of the Samsung W2018 has two display panels facing opposite sides, while the other half houses a physical numeric keyboard on one side and the main camera and fingerprint sensor on the other. The device seems to be coated with metal, and the back panel appears to be made of glass presumably for wireless charging support, although this has not been confirmed yet.

Internal-wise, the clamshell device is expected to boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with 6 GB of RAM. It should offer 64 GB of onboard storage as well, which will likely be expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card slot.

As for the cameras, it is rumored to accommodate a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. All these will be powered by a 2,300 mAh battery, which will hopefully be enough to last a whole day.

W2018's recent sighting comes after another leak that details the Samsung W2018 launch. According to GSM Arena, the clamshell phone will be unveiled on Dec. 1, Friday. A poster featuring the luxury handset with a bunch of A-list Chinese celebrities reveals the launch will be held at Xiamen Sports Center, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the W lineup.

Previous reports claimed the handset has already been certified by China's regulatory agency TENAA. There is no word on the availability of the device, but it will likely remain exclusive to China just like its predecessors.
