After the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 last month, rumors are rife that the South Korean tech giant will unveil another premium gadget shortly. It is expected that Samsung will officially announce the Galaxy Tab S4 in the coming weeks, with the specs and features of the high-end tablet already displayed in the recent GFXBench benchmark lising.

The latest GFXBench benchmark listing for a certain Samsung gizmo with model number SM-T835 shows that the tablet will sport a 10.5-inch display with 1,600x2,560 pixels resolution. While it was not particularly called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, tech followers have taken notice of the model number, which seems to suceed the numbers used by the previous Tab S series models, the Galaxy Tab S2 and S3. The Galaxy Tab S3 goes with the model number SM-T825, while the Tab S2 has SM-T815.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is also listed with an Adreno 540 GPU. There is no specific description about the tablet's main processor, but given the Adreno graphics chip mentioned, it is expected that the Galaxy Tab S4 will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chipset. The Adreno 540 graphics card is known to be used with the 2017 Qualcomm high-end chip, and it does not appear that the Tab S4 will use the latest Snapdragon 845.

The expectation is that all of Samsung's upcoming flagship devices will use Qualcomm's latest high-end mobile processor, starting with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphones. Although, the latest chip is likely to arrive in the Galaxy Tab S series next year.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is shown to have 4GB of RAM and 64 GB built-in storage. It will also sport a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. The tablet is tipped to run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update.

Samsung has yet to announce the release of the Galaxy Tab S4 this year, although the tablet is expected to drop in the coming weeks.
