Samsung just recently launched another high-end smartphone product line, but new rumors about their next flagship device have already started to circulate online. Reports claim that new details about Samsung's next-generation flagship smartphone, reportedly dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S7, have been leaked.

SamMobile recently released a report about the next premium device from the South Korean electronics and consumer goods giant, including the posting found on the Geekbench benchmark database where the alleged hardware specs of two Galaxy S7 devices can be found.

According to the benchmark listing, the new devices are being referred to as Samsung LUCKY-LTE and Project Lucky, which are both being tested with the Exynos 8890 chipset dubbed as the Mongoose. It also mentions that the alleged LTE edition of the upcoming flagship product has 4 GB of RAM, while the non-LTE model comes with 3 GB of RAM.

Other reports claim that a different chipset, the Snapdragon 820 processor, was also tested with the device. It could mean that the upcoming Samsung smartphones might come in two different variants.

In addition to the internal specs of the rumored Galaxy S7, there are reports claiming that Samsung will come up with a new folding, flexible OLED touchscreen technology, and it will be incorporated in the next line of flagship phones. A tip posted on Chinese social media site Weibo claims that Samsung is currently conducting a series of product testing called Project V or Project Valley, which allegedly uses a foldable smartphone that runs using both the Snapdragon 620 and 820 chipsets, 3 GB of RAM with microSD card slot for memory expansion, and a non-removable battery.

This is not the first time that Samsung is rumored to be developing a foldable smartphone, with speculations about it raised during the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show. But because of the timing of the latest rumored testing, industry watchers are now linking the foldable devices to the release of the Galaxy S7.

Other Samsung Galaxy S7 rumors include the alleged testing of the groundbreaking 20-MP ISOCELL camera, said to be developed for the Galaxy S7 smartphone.

The innovative device is rumored to come out in January 2016.
