U.S. consumers who are eagerly waiting for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 should be in the lookout next month, as insider information shared to PhoneArena revealed that the new flagship smartphone is coming on April 11.

The website allegedly received a tip from a loyal reader who works in one of the four major network carriers in the U.S. According to the source, a Samsung sales rep working in the Greater Midwest area revealed that the highly anticipated device will be launched next month. The tipster also claimed that reps from the South Korean mobile manufacturing giant are currently busy going around the retail stores all over the country to present demos for the new product.

All the major U.S. network providers, including T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, as well as US Cellular, will reportedly offer the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge once they are released.  These networks have also launched a pre-order page for the device in their own websites days before the product was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain early this month.

Among the four major carriers, Verizon was first in announcing their pre-order details, saying via their Twitter account: "Preorders for the Samsung #GalaxyS6 & S6 edge w/ Verizon 4G LTE & 5.1 Quad HD Super AMOLED display will begin on 4/1."

Then the three other carriers followed suit. AT&T is trying to stay on the lead by offering a special promotion for those who pre-order until March 25, wherein a Samsung Gear S is given to a lucky winner every day.

On the other hand, T-Mobile also matched their pre-order promo with their own sweepstakes, where the grand prize winner will receive a Samsung ecosystem worth $3,500.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge are expected to come out with high-end specs like 5.1-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD Super AMOLED displays, built-in wireless charging, 16-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, among others.
