'Samsung Galaxy Note 6' specs rumors: Device to get larger curved display, 4000mAh battery?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 aka the Note 5's successor is said to boast some mind-blowing specs. Samsung

New information about the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has emerged, this time about Samsung's plans for its design. According to a report by GSM Helpdesk, Samsung is looking to use a curved display on the phablet.

Samsung is also working on a flat display for the device, but it will reportedly only release one version in the end. The South Korea-based tech titan is still torn between the two.

However, Sam Mobile believes that a Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will make more sense, since Samsung is thinking of making Samsung Note 6 the successor of the both the Note 5 and the S6 Edge Plus.

Both versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 they are trying to develop boast Quad HD resolution on their 5.8-inch screen, which is relatively larger than that of its predecessors that both have 5.7-inch touchscreens.

At the moment, Samsung is testing both the flat and curved versions. Only time will tell which design the tech firm ultimately goes for, but if the rumored July outing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is pushing through, fans won't have to wait that long to find out.

Meanwhile, the same GSM Helpdesk report also claims that the new Note iteration will be fitted out with a hulking 4000mAh battery -- a towering upgrade from the Note 5's 3200mAh unit.

To make the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 more powerful, Samsung will be utilizing either an Exynos 8890 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 823, both of which are the latest models in their lines. The company will top it all off with 6GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Although this is all very plausible especially for a company like Samsung, which is known for being ambitious with its flagships, users are advised to take this report with a grain of salt.

Users will know what the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is all about presumably by July. Samsung is reportedly launching the device ahead of the IFA Berlin, where the company usually reveals new Note products.
