Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date: Device to be mighty enough to power up a laptop?

Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S7, which is expected to be released next month, there are also reports about the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, which is said to be much more powerful than its already formidable predecessor.

A patent dug up by Patently Mobile shows that the phablet is so mighty it can act as the processor and the memory of a Windows-running laptop. When it is placed on a dock of a laptop, it will reportedly switch to the Microsoft OS. When removed, it goes back to Android.

For the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 to pull off such massive feature, it will allegedly be equipped with a 16-core processor, which is double that of most top-tier handsets and tablets. It will also get 8 GB of RAM.

Whether or not there's truth in this report remains to be seen, although what is being assured is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be mega-powerful, possibly the most proficient device the South Korea-based tech firm will put out to date.

Another mind-blowing report regarding the upcoming Note iteration is that it will come with a bendable screen, which will sport an impressive 4K screen resolution and 800ppi pixel density.

In the camera department, Samsung will reportedly not hold back. Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be outfitted with a 25-MP rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization. On the front will apparently be a 16-MP shooter.

There's no mention of the battery capacity but users can imagine a hefty one will come with the phablet, considering the massive power it will have. The best part is that even with such a bulky battery, users won't have to wait for hours to fully juice it up because Samsung is integrating its fast-charging technology on the device.

At the moment, Samsung is yet to announce the development of the Galaxy Note 6 so it is best to take these reports with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, the tech giant is speculated to release the latest Note in Q3 2016.
