Samsung Galaxy Note 4 live stream: Watch online IFA keynote, and launch event

The world's biggest tech companies are heading to Germany as the 2014 Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) kicks off later this week.

IFA is known as one of the earliest German industrial exhibitions, which started in 1924. It has become one of the top international home appliance and consumer electronic trade shows since 2005.

This year, a lot of top gadget brands plan to launch their latest gadgets at IFA 2014. According to the event's schedule, here are some of the things that different brands are expected to offer on Sept. 3:

Samsung

The South Korean brand is expected to announce the launching of its Galaxy Note 4 smartphone. Considered to be one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, gadget geeks will finally see the specs of the smartphone during the firm's press conference in Berlin.

It reportedly has a 5.7-inch screen with a 2K resolution as well as a Retina scanner and a UV sensor.

Samsung's IFA 2014 press conference is also set to take place on Sept. 3. before the scheduled slot of Sony.

Be sure to watch Samsung's Unpacked event online via live stream on YouTube. The event will take place at 3 p.m. CEST, which will be 10 a.m. ET.

Sony

The brand is expected to announce the launch of the Xperia Z3 smartphone as well as other new gadgets from the firm. The company will release a live video stream of their scheduled press conference in Berlin.

The upcoming Xperia Z3 is reported to have a 4.8-inch 720x1280 pixel (HD) display, as well as a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor that ranges from 1.5GB to 2GB of RAM.

The brand is also expected to announce the unveiling of other new products such as the Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, as well as the SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk wearable gadgets.

Sony's scheduled press conference will take place on Wednesday evening.

Acer

The company is scheduled to unveil its newest tablet called Iconia A3-A20. It is known as the successor of the brand's Iconia A3-A10. The device is expected to have a 10.1-inch display, 1GB of RAM and a powerful 5-megapixel primary camera with 32GB of on-board storage.

Acer's product launch is scheduled at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will also take place on Sept. 3.

This year's IFA will last until Sept. 10.
