Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features: The best phablet in the market?

Samsung has been working hard to be on top of the phablet competition and it looks like its hard work will pay off with the release of its latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Tech analysts and fans of bigger smartphones are saying that the new Galaxy Note 4 is one of the best, if not the best, phablet in the market today. They are particularly impressed with its sleek metal frame, the enhanced S Pen, the astounding 5.7-inch quad HD display, as well as its powerful 16-megapixel primary camera.

One of the most significant changes in the Note 4 from its predecessor is the aluminum strip that smoothly runs around the edges. It is far different from the plastic frame of the earlier Note editions. Though it can be a little bit slippery, the textured back portion of the Note 4 is enough to give it a stable grip.

Meanwhile, the Super AMOLED 5.7-inch quad HD display provides an amazing blend of wide viewing angles, rich color, and display sharpness. It means that the viewing experience in the new device from the South Korean consumer brand is much better compared to its competitors.

Also, the improved S Pen included in the Note 4 pack proves to be more useful compared to its earlier versions. Using this makes writing on the device smoother since it glides more easily. It also helps pin memos in the home screen with just a single tap.

Then there is the impressive 16-megapixel rear facing camera that Samsung built in the new Note 4. This is what every smartphone photographer had been wishing for. A camera with such characteristics is guaranteed to result in nice, clear photographs. The Galaxy Note 4 camera also features optical image stabilization, autofocus, LED flash, Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video as well as image recording capacity, built-in geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama, and HDR capacity. It can also shoot quality 4K videos.

For now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is being released with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat, but it could be replaced with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop once Google releases the new OS sometime in November.
