Detailed renders of the supposed 2018 versions of Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 have been leaked recently, providing a glimpse of the design of the mid-range handsets.

The renders posted by MySmartPrice in collaboration with OnLeaks revealed that Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 will be the next ones to sport the most stunning feature of Samsung Galaxy S8. Both devices will supposedly get the Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels (1080p). They will also sport a metal and glass design, with the A5 screen coming in at 5.5 inches. The A7, on the other hand, will have a slightly bigger display at 6 inches.

Due to the bigger screen, the fingerprint scanner is expected to be moved to the back. This time, however, it will be positioned directly below the single rear camera. This setup would explain the elongated cut-out seen at the back of the A5 and A7 protective cases that were also leaked earlier this month.

Meanwhile, there will be dual front-facing cameras, an earpiece, and additional sensors above the display. Users can find the power button and the grills for the loudspeaker on the right-hand side of the handset, while the left side houses the volume buttons and the SIM card slot. As for the headphone jack and the USB Type-C port, both are located at the bottom part of the phone.

Hardware-wise, an Exynos 7885 chipset could power the two Galaxy devices in some regions, while others could get ones with Snapdragon 600. Either chip should be coupled with a 4-gigabyte (GB) random access memory (RAM) and 32 GB of internal storage.

Other expected features include support for Samsung Pay, the Always-On Display, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and dust and water resistance. Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 are also expected to be pre-installed with Bixby, although the button designed for Samsung's voice assistant is absent from the renders.

The Galaxy A series will reportedly be unveiled sometime in early 2018, quite possibly at CES 2018 in Las Vegas.
