"Sally's Law," a unique puzzler first released on the mobile and PC platform, has now been confirmed to arrive on the Nintendo Switch this 2018, bringing its emotionally captivating and compelling narrative to users of the much-praised hybrid console.

According to game publisher Polaris-x, the game will see a late 2018 debut on the Switch and will be receiving a system revamp that will best suit the gaming experience on Nintendo's popular console.

Even before this announcement, "Sally's Law" has been making quite a ruckus in the awards scene, winning Google Indie Game Festival's 2016 top 3 Grand Prize award. The game was also a finalist in Excellence In Narrative Finalist category of the 2016 Busan Indie Connect Festival.

The highly acclaimed game from developer Nanali Studios will be sporting a new feature made especially for its Switch port called "Hustle and Bustle" -- a co-op mode that enables players to share their experiences in-game through emotions.

Yasuhiro Sumida, Polaris-x's CEO, expressed his excitement for the game and noted that this game port is centralized on users playing the title with someone whom they care about.

"When did you last shed tears over a game? This heartfelt family story is brought to life by Daisuke Shiiba, an ex-Nintendo music composer, whose soundtrack adds a level of emotion rarely found in other games. For the Nintendo Switch version, we want the players to play with someone who is very close to them so they can share their emotions," Sumida shared.

In the narrative aspect, "Sally's Law" will feature the emotional story of a father and her daughter named Sally as she goes on a journey to see her ill father imbued with supernaturally enhanced luck by a certain mysterious force. Players will also be able to witness the game's unfolding through the eyes of Sally's father once they reach a certain stage in-game.

Gameplay-wise, "Sally's Law" is categorized as a side-scrolling puzzle platformer, wherein players must advance through the increasingly difficult levels in order to help Sally get to her destination.
