'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' plot rumors: Darth Vader rumored to make appearance in'A New Hope' costume

Rumors about Darth Vader appearing on "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" continue to persist. LucasFilm

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will feature an iconic villainous character, according to a new rumor. Making Star Wars has been told by its sources that the chosen one Darth Vader will be in the film.

According to the site, Luke Skywalker's father will be donning his iconic garb from "A New Hope," where he first appeared. The "Rogue One" film will reportedly recreate the costume "down to the fine details."

Making Star Wars is impressed of the accuracy of the "Rogue One" duplicate of the costume and how insanely identical and "indistinguishable" it is from the original.

The resemblance of the costume rumored to be worn by "Doctor Who" and "Game of Thrones" star Spencer Wilding runs from the every aspect of the mask to the chest piece and all the way to the back of the cape.

Apart from his costume, Darth Vader's meditation chamber as seen in "Empire Strikes Back" is said to appear in "Rogue One" as well. The blue tank shown in the trailer of the film showing a hooded figure is where Darth Vader is allegedly being held when fans see him in the film.

The report assures that Darth Vader's first big screen appearance since "Revenge of the Sith" will be handled by "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in such a way that it will pay well-deserved homage to one of the most memorable silver screen villains of all time.

The involvement of Hayden Christensen, who played Anakin Skywalker in the prequels, has also been rumored although there's no way of knowing for sure if he will be in the spinoff.

Meanwhile, a wonderfully made "Lego Movie" trailer for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" has been released. The trailer did a meticulous and splendid job at recreating a stop-motion version of the original trailer.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" hits the big screen on Dec. 15, 2016.
