'Rock Band 4' Psychonauts DLC announced

A look at the Psychonauts DLC Twitter/Rock Band

Developer Harmonix is about to unleash a new batch of free content for "Rock band 4" players. It collaborated with San Francisco-based game developer Double Fine to make it possible for gamers to rock out donning Whispering Rock shirts and Raz's famous flying helmet.

These goodies make up the all-new Psychonauts DLC, which drops later this month. Harmonix is yet to lock in a specific date when this update will roll out but it is assured that before February steps in, the Psychonauts gear will be available.

The update, which will be released to Xbox One and PS4 players of "Rock Band 4," also comes with several tweaks, the biggest of which is the leaderboard wipe-out, which Harmonix said is vital to "making improvements that affect almost every song, instrument, and difficulty in the game."

"These changes will ensure that in the future, you won't be unseated from the top spot by someone using an exploit," it guaranteed. Harmonix also vows to quickly attend to any issues gamers come across in "Rock Band 4." The update will help with that nippy response.

In related news, gamers with the original "Rock Band" game can now export songs from that installment to the latest one. At the moment, the export feature is only available to P4 players in North America.

Harmonix promises that PS4 players in Europe as well as Xbox One gamers will be able to enjoy the feature soon as well but it did not provide a timeframe. There are requirements to bear in mind in exporting and Harmonix listed them all here.

"Rock Band" to "Rock Band 4" exporters have to make sure first and foremost that they have the purchasable export option, which is no longer accessible after being available in the market for five years.

Players can export 47 songs from the first "Rock Band" game to the latest iteration of the franchise. A total of eight tracks will be exportable "at a later time." There are also three songs than can never be exported:

  1. Black Sabbath – "Paranoid"
  2. Iron Maiden – "Run to the Hills"
  3. Metallica – "Enter Sandman"

Meanwhile, a new batch of songs will be added in "Rock Band 4" tomorrow. Here are the songs:

  1. Soundgarden – "My Wave"
  2. Stone Temple Pilots – "Wicked Garden"
  3. Temple of the Dog – "Hunger Strike"

The mystery of the Wise Men
The mystery of the Wise Men

The carol assures us that “We three kings of Orient are…” and tells us they were “following yonder star”. Can we be sure there were three of them? Were they kings? Where in the Orient were they from? What was the star they followed? In fact, there is a lot that we just do not know. This is the story …
