Pop singer Robin Thicke is father again with the birth of his daughter on Feb. 22. He and his girlfriend, model April Love Geary, have announced the baby's arrival on social media.
Thicke, 40, welcomed his new baby with Geary, 23. The baby, named Mia Love Thicke, is Geary's first child, while she is Thicke's second. Thicke was previously married to actress Paula Patton, with whom he has a seven-year-old son named Julian.
Patton filed for divorce from Thicke in October 2014 after a 10-year marriage. The former couple had known each other since their teenage years before getting married in 2005. Thicke and Geary, meanwhile, began dating in March 2015.
The couple first announced the pregnancy in August last year, when Geary was around three months pregnant. Geary shared the news on Instagram, where she posted a photo of her sonogram dated Aug. 14. She also shared that her due date was estimated to be on March 1, which would have been the 71st birthday of Thicke's late father, actor Alan Thicke.
The elder Thicke died in December 2016 after a suffering a heart attack. He was known for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver in the ABC sitcom "Growing Pains," as well as guest appearances in shows like "How I Met Your Mother" and "Fuller House."
Thicke announced his daughter's birth by sharing an Instagram video of himself cradling his new baby. He included the time of his daughter's birth as well as her full name in his caption for the video.
"On 2/22 at 13:33 Mia Love Thicke was born," the singer wrote, adding, "Thank you God and April Love!"
Thicke also previously shared that his son Julian was instrumental in naming his new baby sister. "Julian came up with the name ... and I suggested the middle name Love after her mommy," Thicke told PEOPLE magazine. He and Geary announced the baby's name during their baby shower, which was held in Malibu on Jan. 20.
Geary has also posted an Instagram video of Julian reading a bedtime story to his little sister.
