The previous episode of "Riverdale" season 2 was supposed to be a joyous celebration of talents of Riverdale High students, but things did not go exactly as planned as the mysterious Black Hood made his presence felt once again. With another death reported in town, Archie (KJ Apa) and his squad will not let the killer get out of his crimes unscathed.
According to the latest synopsis for "Riverdale" season 2 episode 19, Archie will be leading the investigation to figure out who is responsible for the death of Midge Klump (Emilija Baranac), who is apparently another casualty in Black Hood's rampage in Riverdale. After the tragic "Carrie: The Musical" presentation, the focus will shift to hunting down the killer on the loose. However, Archie must figure out who Black Hood really is, as the season's big bad meanie is still roaming free and planning his or her next murder.
On the other hand, the aftermath of the previous episode's murder mystery will push the students of Riverdale High over the edge. Jughead (Cole Sprouse), Betty (Lili Reinhart), Alice (Madchen Amick) and Chic (guest star Hart Denton) will be involved in a scuffle as the latter is being pinpointed as the person behind Black Hood's murder trail. There is a reason for the long-timers at Riverdale to be suspicious of Chic, given that all the bad things have happened ever since he set foot in their town. Still, there is nothing to prove that Chic is responsible for Midge's murder, moreso accusing him as Black Hood himself, although more revelations can be expected as the Riverdale gang tries to uncover the truth.
"Riverdale" season 2 episode 19 will also feature Veronica (Camila Mendes) going on her own mission as a mysterious person from her past makes a comeback. It looks like this person does not mean well for Veronica and his family, although the reason for him to exact revenge agaist Veronica is still unclear. Lastly, Hermoine (Marisol Nichols) and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) will work togther to expose Sheriff Keller (guest star Martin Cummins).
"Riverdale" season 2 episode 19 will air on April 25 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
