After the touching heart-to-heart talk between Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) and her father David Clarke (James Tupper) last episode, more secrets and lies will start to unfold in the upcoming episode of "Revenge" season 4.

The official synopsis released by ABC for episode 9 of the hit mystery drama series reads:

"Emily and Victoria learn that information is the most dangerous weapon while Nolan offers up information of his own in order to salvage his reputation."

This means that Emily will do all she can to keep all her latest deep, dark secrets away from her friends and enemies, especially Victoria (Madeline Stowe).

A promo trailer for the episode that will air on Nov. 30 had also been released, wherein Emily is seen flirting with Ben (Brian Hallisay) so she can have the opportunity to get closer to her father and have more information about his case.

"I want to learn about the mysterious Emily Thorne," Ben is heard saying to Emily in the trailer.

"Well, then I wouldn't be mysterious," she replies.

Nolan (Gabriel Mann) will also do the same moves by cozying up with Margaux (Karine Vanasse) and divulge all the information that he knows about Louise (Elena Satine) so that he can resurrect his damaged reputation.

Meanwhile, former "Sons of Anarchy" star Tommy Flanagan will join the cast of "Revenge" after his hit show draws to a close. Flanagan, who portrayed the role of Chibs on FX's popular biker drama, will now be playing the role of Malcolm Black, which, according to TVLine, is a psychopath who will stop at nothing to protect his family and wealth.  Psychopath he may be, but Black, the website says, is also high functioning and doesn't easily forget those who rub him the wrong way.  Further, Black might be one of the main antagonists in the second half of the season — he could even be the person that David is trying to get away from.

Flanagan will appear on the show during its midseason premiere sometime in early 2015.
