The release date for "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" has been pushed back for another week.
Capcom made the announcement on its official website, saying: "In an effort to fine-tune the final product, we've moved the release of the first episode back just one week to February 24."
This means that the original release date of Feb. 17 will not push through anymore, and the rest of the scheduled release for all the episodes and the complete episode collection of the upcoming horror video game will be affected as well.
Based on the new schedule, the new release date for "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" episode 1 will be launched on Feb. 24 for the PlayStation Network in the U.S. and Feb. 25 for the PlayStation Network in Europe, Xbox Live, and Steam.
Meanwhile, episode 2 will be released on March 3 for the U.S. market of the PlayStation Network. Episode 3 will come out on March 10 for the PSN in the U.S., and March 11 for the PSN EU, Steam and Xbox Live. Finally, the fourth and final episode will be released on March 17 for the PlayStation Network in the U.S., and March 18 for the PSN EU, Steam, and Xbox Live. The one-disk complete episode collection will be launched on March 17 as well.
The episodes can be bought for just $6 each, or $25 for all the episodes when purchased as one. On the other hand, the retail disc can be purchased for just $40, and it will include several added bonus contents that are not included in the individual downloadable episodes. These bonus contents will include two extra episodes that will unveil the character backstories of both Moira Burton and Natalia Kora.
The PlayStation Vita version of the episodic horror survival game will also be released sometime this year.
