Will a cheating scandal break out in the new season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"?

Eileen Davidson, one of the newest ladies who joined the hit Bravo reality show this season, may have to face her ugly past in one of the upcoming episodes of "RHOBH" season 5.

On Wednesday, the "Days of Our Lives" star shared her excitement on Twitter before the premiere episode began. But will enthusiasm progress in the coming weeks, as rumors start to surface online that the show will touch on her alleged previous involvement with a married man?

The Examiner reported that Brandi Glanville called the soap opera actress a cheater. The long-time "RHOBH" cast member also revealed several unknown details about Davidson's past, which shocked all the other cast members.

Glanville, it is said, found out that Davidson got involved with her now-husband Vince Van Patten while the actor/pro tennis player was still married.  Davidson was photographed by the paparazzi spending a romantic getaway with Van Patten in Las Vegas in December 2000, when he was still married to Betsy Russell. Russel filed for divorce in January 2001, and Van Patten and Davidson married in 2003.

While this happened many years ago and Davidson and her husband seem to be peacefully married, Glanville may find the soap actress' presence like salt in her wounds.  Glanville's former husband Eddie Cibrian happened to have cheated on her with singer-actress LeAnn Rimes, and she might use her new co-star's deceitful past as a way of unleashing all her hidden rage against Rimes who wrecked her marriage.  This will perhaps be the cause of conflict for the "RHOBH" co-stars.

Meanwhile, the mother-of-two will also try to patch things up with the other housewives who she had a beef with during the past seasons of "RHOBH."  In the season premiere, Glanville felt left out when all her former friends ignored her during the white party hosted by Kyle Richard.  She reportedly mustered all the courage to approach Adrienne Maloof and invited her to coffee to rebuild their friendship.

"I don't want it to be weird with us," the 42-year-old Glanville said.

Fortunately for her, Maloof agreed, and the former friends seems to be continuously on the mend in the upcoming episodes of the series.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs every Tuesday on Bravo.
