The drama is already starting to unfold among the ladies of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" even before the season 5 premiere airs next week.

One of the biggest shockers for the premiere episode is Brandi Glanville's epic slap to her former best pal Lisa Vanderpump.

Fans of Bravo's hit reality show know that the ex-BFFs are not in good terms since the last season, and they are hoping that things will mend in season 5. Yet the slap seen on the promo teaser proves that the ladies will not reconcile anytime soon.

When Vanderpump sat down with E! News for an interview, she confessed that the slap was something that she never expected from her former friend.

"That was a bit of a sharp turn that I didn't expect and it did change a dynamic for me, that's for sure," the reality star said. "I would not put up with that. I have never been slapped before."

Although she said that she will never tolerate the deed, she admitted that a lot of things changed in her relationship with her co-stars because of that slap.

The successful businesswoman and restaurateur, who also stars in a new spin-off series called "Vanderpump Rules," also discussed the promo trailer with Us Weekly, saying, "There are also poignant moments in there. There are friendships that have been rebuilt that last year, there was no hope for."

Vanderpump also shared that she is now contemplating on whether or not she will sign up again for RHOBV season 6. With the new show that she also produces, a chain of restaurants that she has to attend to, as well as her new line of houseware collections called Pop Culture Living Collection, she might have too much on her hands already.

"I've worked so hard, that's the problem. I would like to scale back a bit. It's been tough," she said.

Aside from Vanderpump and Glanville's feud, the new season will also introduce two new cast members, Liza Rinna and Eileen Davidson, both from the highly successful daytime soap "Days of Our Lives."

The fifth season premiere of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" will air on Nov. 18 on Bravo.
