"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is not one to shy away from the spotlight. However, Shereé Whitfield and her new beau Tyrone Gilliams seems to be hogging the center stage for themselves lately with NeNe Leakes on the front-end, weighing in on the two's romance.

In an interview with "LIVE With Kelly and Ryan," "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes expressed her brutally honest opinion regarding her castmate's new romance, saying, "You know what, I think him and Shereé are still going strong. I'm so happy for her dating a prisoner. I think that's what I should be saying because soon as I say something about it, it's like 'You're talking about my boyfriend.' No, I think he's the perfect man for her."

It can be recalled that late last year, Shereé Whitfield went public with her relationship with Tyrone Gilliams, who is currently serving his time in federal prison due to a white collar crime.

Leakes' animosity toward the couple can be traced back to the fourth season of the show where tensions between the former and Whitfield blew up with Gilliams in the middle of it all.

During the season, Leakes and Whitfield have constantly been on each other's necks even going as far as revealing each other's mugshots.

And if that does not stir things up, Leakes also branded Gilliams as a "con artist," with the latter responding to the allegation during a phone call with Whitfield, saying, "Let's just say this. NeNe would never want to speak anything negatively about me. She don't want to go down that road."

Earlier this season, Whitfield revealed that Leakes and Gilliams have met in the past even going as a far as to suggest the two were an item back in the day.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs every Sunday 8 p.m. EST on Bravo TV.
