Ray (Liev Schreiber) will encounter a lot of new characters when "Ray Donovan" returns for season 4.

According to The Wrap, a Russian gangster running from the LAPD named Ivan Belikov will enter Ray's world in the upcoming season of Showtime's hit crime drama. The character will be portrayed by "Deadwood" actor Pasha Lychnikoff. The report did not reveal how Belikov will interact with Ray in season 4.

Aside from Lychnikoff, there are a lot of other cast additions for "Ray Donovan" season 4. They include Dominique Columbus, who according to Deadline will portray the role of a savvy, homeless teenager who will be involved with the Donovans.

The publication also previously reported that "The Bridge" actor Ted Levine is also set to play the role of casino owner Little Bill Primm, while Ismael Cruz Cordova from "The Good Wife" was tapped to play the role of a middleweight boxing champion named Hector, who ultimately becomes friends with Ray in season 4.

"The Cosby Show" alum Lisa Bonet was also cast in a major recurring role in the series as Marison, described as an unstable woman who is the keeper of a shocking secret.

While the plot for "Ray Donovan" season 4 is still kept under wraps, writer and showrunner David Hollander told The Hollywood Reporter in September 2015 that the Donovans will go through a lot of changes next season.

Talking about Jon Voight's character Mickey, Hollander revealed that big things are happening to Ray's grieving father next season. He also mentioned the show's plans for the Donovans when the series returns.

"There will be new situations, a new family dynamic, and along the way that will really impact every member of his family and in a strange way conflate with Mickey again. We're really excited about where we're going in season 4, it's going to be an emotional, but big and loud and brassy and visually fun year," the showrunner teased.

Showtime has yet to reveal the official release date of "Ray Donovan" season 4.
