For the past few years, even before the battle royale genre came up big, "Rainbow Six Siege" still remains to be one of the best tactical shooter games. Their event, Outbreak, will be released soon offering a lot of new features to try as it will also come with the latest "Operation Chimera."

With Outbreak comes two new operators that can be played for the duration of the event. While no specific details about their skills or even names were mentioned, a blog post about who they are in general already gives big hints about it. One is from France and the other studied in Russia. The former presumably deals with drones while the latter on nanobots.

New characters can also be translated to new maps. There are also no specific details about it but there are again big hints that were also revealed in the blog post as well. A picture was shown with a phrase saying "investigate the black spots." The black spots were encircled a two small groups of these spots were labeled as "Resort" and "Hospital" and thus may be a tease to the new maps.

There are also new enemy types that players will encounter in the game. This includes Grunts, Breachers, Rooters, Smashers, and Apex. Grunts are common enemies that sprout armor. Breachers are fast and are armed with bombs. Rooters can immobilize players with their long-range spikes. Smashers have the biggest armor. Lastly, Apex attacks, not on its own, but sends waves of other enemies at players.

Trailers have been released but none have shown gameplay for the game. However, it does provide that eerie atmosphere that players can expect. It is the perfect combination with the kinds of zombies to give an exhilarating experience.

"Outbreak" will be out at the same time as "Operation Chimera" set to be released on March 6 with the event lasting until April 3.
