'Rainbow Six Siege' kicks off year 2, season 4 with Operation White Noise

A tactical shooting game developed and published by Ubisoft, "Rainbow Six Siege" is the eleventh game in the "Rainbow Six" franchise. The game is known for its action-packed multiplayer segments, and recently, the developers have been teasing at the game's latest season.

The upcoming Operation White Noise is reportedly going to be set in Seoul in Korea. Fans were curious and excited as they anticipated for the follow-up news, and on Nov. 2, Ubisoft delivered with an announcement about year 2's season 4 kick-off. The announcement also included much-awaited titbits on Operation White Noise.

Two new operators will be joining Team Rainbow. And the new announcement states that in the brand new map players will have to do a lot of looking up. They will also explore an observation tower in Seoul, Korea. Exploration aside, there will be new weapon choices for those who are looking forward to trying out different firearms.

Earlier questions on where the next season would be held have finally been answered. Players will indeed be spending the latest season running around Seoul and wrecking havoc upon all their foes.

Aside from the new operators and a new map, Operation White Noise will also be introducing a handful of new weapons and new gadgets for excited fans to tinker around with and play with.

The announcement ends with promises of future updates and news on the pro league finals in Sao Paulo. The finals will take place on Nov. 18 and Nov. 19 on "Rainbow Six's" Twitch channel.

Operation White noise is the latest season of year 2. After its conclusion, "Rainbow Six" will enter its third year and fans will need to prepare themselves for the upcoming four seasons of the year.

"Rainbow Six" was originally a novel written by Tom Clancy in 1998. The novel was adapted into a tactical first-person shooter in December 2015.
