Rachel McAdams pregnant, due date news 2018: 'The Notebook' actress pregnant with first child

Rachel McAdams is welcoming her first baby soon.

The "True Detective" alum is seven months pregnant, multiple sources confirmed to E! News. A rep for McAdams has yet to comment on the matter. Insiders also revealed that she has been appearing slightly curvier than usual and has been wearing big coats to hide her figure.

McAdams, 39, is known for being very private about her personal life. She was spotted holding hands with screenwriter Jamie Linden in the summer of 2016, leading to speculation that they were dating.

The Oscar nominee has been maintaining a low profile these past few months. She did not join the premiere of her latest film on Wednesday, and she was last seen in a Toronto airport wearing a baggy jacket. It's also worth noting that she has not walked a red carpet since September last year.

While McAdams is keeping silent about her rumored pregnancy, the actress has admitted in several interviews in the past that she would like to have children of her own someday. She also said she's willing to have more than one.

"Having a few [children] would be great ... My mom is a great inspiration to me... She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle. She lets me be who I am. Hopefully, I can take on those qualities and be as great as her," she told told  PEOPLE back in 2009.

McAdams most recently appeared on "Game Night" opposite Jason Bateman. She is rumored to reprise her role as Irene Adler on "Sherlock Holmes 3." Aside from "The Notebook," she is also known for her films "Mean Girls," "Red Eye" and "The Vow."

She previously dated her "The Notebook" leading man Ryan Gosling from 2004 until 2008. After their split, she had a relationship with British actor Michael Sheen but their romance came to an end in 2013.
