 ABC

Alex (Priyanka Chopra) will be wary about the man that she loves in the upcoming episode of "Quantico."

In the episode titled "Drive," viewers will find Alex and Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) working with each other during the present day timeline during her Quantico training. But in the future, the estranged lovers will find themselves at odds with each other as they deal with real-life terrorist.

When Ryan returned to Quantico as a teacher, Alex began having trust issues with the man that she dated inside the FBI training facility. This could be carried over in the future, considering that Ryan already lied to her in the past.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads:

"With only a few weeks until graduation, the NATS are dispatched to various field offices where Alex and Ryan find themselves working a case together. Meanwhile, in the future, Shelby and Caleb's relationship takes a turn, and Alex doesn't know who to trust when she discovers new information about the man she loves."

Meanwhile, showrunner Josh Safran told Entertainment Weekly that someone will die even before reaching the first season finale of "Quantico" on May 15.

According to Safran, the upcoming episode will surprise viewers with the unexpected twists that no one saw coming. "Once you make it to the end of the next episode, it's a non-stop [story]. It's the end of the rollercoaster, the last drops... You'll see how they all fit into the big puzzle," Safran said. He also revealed that someone will bite the dust. "Characters will perish previous to the finale. We did not save everything for the finale. I really believe that starting with the next episode, you can't miss a moment," he added. However, Safran did not provide a clue about the name of the character who will no longer make it after the first season.

"Quantico" episode 20 airs Sunday, May 1, on ABC.
