Popular first-person shooter "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds" (PUBG) has become one of the top games this year despite still being in its early access. Developer Bluehole recently announced that it will become an official release soon expecting even more players. That said, graphics developer Nvidia gave a brief performance guide for all users, both new and old.

Anyone who has seen the gameplay on YouTube can easily think that it may not require much graphics. Other popular first-person shooter games like "CS:GO," "Overwatch," or maybe even "Destiny 2," might not need much graphics. However, given the open-world setting and the number of players in just one match, "PUBG" will definitely a lot more.

According to an official post by Nvidia, those who want to experience the max gameplay with the game at high or even ultra settings will need at least a GeForce GTX 1060. Nvidia says that it will not dip lower than 60 frames per second (FPS), making it the ideal standard for any laptop or PC. However, those with bigger resolutions will need a bit better graphics card.

The GeForce GTX 1060 is ideally for 1080p. For 1440p, at least a GTX 1070 is needed to maintain it at a 60 FPS minimum and 72 FPS maximum. Both of these will already be set at high settings. At ultra settings for 1440p, GTX 1080 would be best. Finally, settings put at 4K resolution would need a GTX 1080 Ti.

Note that these are all at high or ultra settings to get at least a 60 FPS minimum. This means that players with a lower-end rig compared to these suggested ones can always still play the game. According to PC Gamer, players will need at the very least the 2012 or later versions of GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7850 to run the game.

However, with such hardware, the game will probably only be at maximum 30 FPS, even on the lowest settings. Nevertheless, those who still want to play the game without caring much for graphics quality can do this. Needless to say, graphics hardware released after 2012 will do increasingly better.
