'PUBG' new map news: Next snowy map is a fan concept

"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" ("PUBG") is yet again getting another new map for its millions of players. "Fortnite" is undoubtedly doing a lot better than "PUBG" in the past few months so it is not much of a surprise that PUBG Corp. would roll out updates to keep the game at the top. A new map may just do the trick. While it is not out yet, a fan made a concept art on what the map could look like.

Interestingly, the map does not only show sceneries and what not for the possible new map for the game. The creators of the map also placed in proper layouts, its own vehicles, mountains and just about any detail they could possibly think of for the game and the gameplay.

As the next "PUBG" map is surely to feature snowy terrain, this fan-made map will also have its snowy influences. The map is named "Nördheim," which is apparently inspired by Scandinavia in real life. The overview of the map shows that it includes a train station, a shipyard, an airport, a hotel and ski resort.

Speaking of skiing, their new vehicles would also have to adjust to the new weather. They made skis that allow players to shoot while maneuvering down the mountain. There is a hovercraft too and of course the regular vehicles.

On the side of gameplay, players will have to use different kinds of strategies. Given the snow, when a player kills another player, the blood will stay on the snow for a minute implying to other players that the killer is just around. The red zone would be changed to a blizzard, which impairs sight and sound making it hard to see and hear anything. Players will also have less time on water given the temperature compared to the regular map.

There are more details for the gameplay itself with the new map. For now, this is all just a concept but it definitely does make fans excited for the new map.
