The filming for the reboot of "Prison Break" is already underway in Vancouver, based on the constant updates of the cast in the social media accounts.
On Instagram, lead star Dominic Purcell shared the filming of one of the action-packed scenes involving his character Lincoln Burrows. It looks like it will be a pretty intense scene, since he needs to rehearse it with a body double.
Meanwhile, co-star Sarah Wayne Callies also posted a photo taken from the set of the series. But instead of showing what her character Dr. Sara Tancredi will be up to in the reboot installment of the show, she posed with another co-star Rockmond Dunbar to congratulate him for having a new baby boy. Dunbar will reprise his role as Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin in the show.
The limited series revival will also feature the return of Wentworth Miller as Lincoln's brilliant brother Michael Scoffied, Amaury Nolasco as Michael's friend Fernando Sucre, Robert Knepper as the manipulative T-Bag, and Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman.
The reboot will also introduce other important characters, including Sara's new husband Scott Ness, portrayed by "What Women Want" actor Mark Feuerstein. But their relationship could be in jeopardy, since Sara's supposedly dead husband Michael turns out to be alive.
Other new characters include Lincoln's new love interest named Shabi, portrayed by actress Inbar Lavi. "The Fast and The Furious" star Rick Yune will also appear as the brainy identity thief Ja, while Augustus Prew from "Kick-ass 2" will join the cast as Whip and actor Amin El Gamal will portray the role of Cyclops.
Also, "American Crime" star Faran Tahir will join the cast as Jamil.
Fox came out with the official synopsis for the reboot, which reads: "When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series' biggest escape ever."
The network has yet to announce the official synopsis of the show in the coming days.
