The Liars feel the heat as A.D. raises the stakes in the upcoming episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7.
Titled "Power Play," next week's episode will see Ali's (Sasha Pieterse) turn at the game bring new levels of fear on the show. According to the official synopsis, it is now Ali's turn at the game, which forces her to come up with a major decision. The task becomes even more daunting when A.D. triggers her to remember a long forgotten trauma. Elsewhere, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) speaks with her father about his past and learns where he currently lives. Aria (Lucy Hale) continues to doubt the future of her relationship with Ezra (Ian Harding), as she gets more infuriated with A.D.'s taunts.
While searching for Mary (Andrea Parker), Spencer and Hanna (Ashley Benson) cross paths with someone familiar who apparently hides a shocking secret. Emily (Shay Mitchell) continues working at Rosewood High with Ali and Paige (Lindsey Shaw), but the situation gets worse when Ali comes to an upsetting realization about her pregnancy. Like Ali, Paige must also make a huge decision that could greatly affect her future.
Fans are well aware that the father of Ali's baby remains a mystery on the show. Through her child could be Archer's (Huw Collins), the cast members teased at PaleyFest in March that nothing is certain and a lot of changes could still happen in the last few episodes of the series.
Speaking with TV Line, Pieterse said Ali remains a bit confused about what she should do next. "She's not sure what she's going to do with this thing growing inside her," the actress explained. "You'll have to keep watching to see if she starts thinking of it as a baby — or if it remains just another complicated part of her life."
Although she was careful not to give too much away, Pieterse did say that Ali's storyline gets more interesting as the story moves forward. ". . . The fans are really going to love the outcome, as well as the beauty and the romance in this season," she added.
The seventh and final season of "Pretty Little Liars" airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
