'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers: Time jump - Could Charles as 'A' still torture the Liars?

The "Big 'A' Reveal" finally happened during the season 5 finale of "Pretty Little Liars," but it does not mean that all the questions have been answered during the "Welcome to the Dollhouse" episode. Still, the creative team behind the show promised that more secrets will be revealed about Rosewood's resident bad guy "A" once the series returns for season 6.

According to "Pretty Little Liars" executive producer I. Marlene King, the Liars will be growing up faster in the next season because of a time jump. King told E! News that the show will undergo a four-year time jump before the end of the sixth season.

"It's really exciting I can't wait to see the girls after they come back from college. It's going to be awesome," the executive producer said.

Still, the girls will have to deal with the effects of finding out that Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) older brother and Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) half-brother Jason (Drew Van Acker) could possibly have a twin named Charles DiLaurentis, and he happens to be "A."

Also, the girls found out that Mona (Janel Parrish) is actually alive, but she is being controlled by Charles. Could this discovery lead to Alison's freedom from prison after being wrongfully convicted of the murder that she obviously did not commit?

Only King knows the answer to this question, and she is not willing to reveal the answer just yet. But for season 6, the series showrunner claims that fans will find out where the Liars are heading and how "A's" mysteries will unravel.

"Last night [episode finale] was the beginning of the end, and the next 10 episodes are all about layers and uncovering the deeper understanding of who is Charles and why. It's not just a surface-level story. It's very deep and complex, but we're about to simplify it for everyone, and hopefully our fans will make sense of it before we even tell them the answers. Some of them already have figured it out!" King teased fans in her latest interview with PEOPLE.
