Looks like "A's" plans to make life miserable for the Liars of Rosewood is in its full gear, as the hooded figure plans to pin down Mona's murder on Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson).
Next Tuesday's episode titled "The Bin of Sin" will feature Hanna's quest to clear her name of her friend's murder. Despite the help of Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and her friends, Hanna will still do her own thing to stop "A's" plans.
The official synopsis for the episode reads:
Suspecting that Alison/"A" is out to frame her for Mona's murder, Hanna is not willing to just sit by and let it happen. When Caleb and her friends try to come up with a safe plan to get Hanna off the hook, it isn't good enough for her. Taking her fate into her own hands, Hanna strikes out alone to clear her name... Meanwhile, relationships are tested when Aria (Lucy Hale) comes clean to Ezra (Ian Harding) and Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) shady actions continue to put Toby in a bind at work."
Based on the spoilers, the Liars will be encountering some bumps in their respective relationships in the coming episode. Fans will see how Ezra will react after he finds out that Aria sent a letter to his ex-girlfriend Jackie a few seasons ago, while the secrets between Spencer and Toby will start to pile up. Will these events affect both relationships?
Meanwhile, an upcoming episode of the hit teen mystery drama will feature the return of "Pretty Little Liars" author Sara Shepard in the series for a cameo role. The author of the entire "Pretty Little Liars" book where the series is loosely based from shared her acting experience in an interview with ET Online.
"It was really fun. I only had a couple of lines, but I was on the show in the first season. I don't act, it's not my thing, and I was really nervous that time, but this time around, I felt a lot better about it," the bestselling author said.
Shepard first appeared in the first season of the show, portraying the role of the substitute teacher for Ezra.
"Pretty Little Liars" season 5 episode 17 airs on Jan. 27.
