'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers: I. Marlene King rebuffs leaked 'A' identity rumors

Pretty Little Liars ABC Family

The Liars are taking a quick break, but it does not mean that things are simmering down in "Pretty Little Liars" season 6.

In the previous episode, Aria (Lucy Hale) discovered that the one who was following her is a girl, but she and her friends are still unsure if that person is connected to Charles, who they believe is the real "A." Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) found out that Mona's (Janel Parrish) friend Lesli (Elizabeth McLaughlin) could somehow be connected with "A" after they learned that she also went to Radley Sanitarium where Charles was admitted. Meanwhile, Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Sara (Dre Davis) realized that they were being followed by a cloaked person.

Will they find out the connection of all these incidents once the season returns next week?

Spoilers for episode 6 titled "No Stone Unturned" claim that the girls will look for evidences that Lesli is "A," but they will receive bigger threats because of their investigation. But knowing the Liars, nothing can stop them from searching for the truth that has been eluding them for a long time.

Meanwhile, rumors began to circulate about "A's" identity when an alleged former "PLL" production staff, said to have been fired by the network, started a Reddit thread Wednesday and revealed who "A" is.

According to the post of the staff member — allegedly fired because of failing the mandatory drug test — "A" is actually Wren Kingston (Julian Morris) and he faked his death, education, nationality and pretty much everything about himself to become a doctor at the Rosewood Community Hospital and Radley to set up an elaborate revenge on his sister Alison (Sasha Pieterse) and her friends.

The post also said that Wren will reveal the truth to Ali at the prom, and he will disappear from Rosewood after that. It was also revealed that Ali and Emily will kiss at the prom, and Ali's current love interest Lorenzo (Travis Winfrey) will die in the coming episodes.

The alleged thread has already been removed from Reddit by the user.

But series showrunner I. Marlene King was quick to quash the rumors on her Instagram account, saying that nobody from the production was fired, and the leaked identity of Charles is untrue. She also posted a quote about karma, which is believed to be connected with the alleged leaked details.

Meanwhile, reports about two new male characters also surfaced online, and they will reportedly appear in the second half of the season when a major time jump will occur.

One of the characters is the sophisticated yet friendly 27-year-old Jordan, while the other one is a 24-year-old editorial assistant from Boston named Liam. According to reports, the new characters will be the new love interest of Aria and Spencer.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 returns on Tuesday, July 14, on ABC Family.
