Prayers for when you are despairing and can't feel any hope

Yes, friends, life can be hard some times, but it is never so hard that God will no longer be with us.  No situation you are facing is too much for Him!  No set of circumstances can intimidate Him or make Him say 'this is too much for me, don't bother me your problems'!

No, with God, you are in good hands friends. For He has promised to be with us wherever we go and He has made Himself available to us 24 hours a day through the wonderful gift of prayer.

Don't give in if you are despairing at life and don't worry if you are struggling with hopelessness.  These feelings are bound to come and go, we all get them from time to time.  And God is with you to help you get through them.

Sometimes, we can feel so dismayed by our circumstances that we cannot really think of the words to say to God.

Maybe you feel choked up by pain or anxiety or hopelessness right now in your life.  Maybe your situation is stressing you out so much that you don't even feel able to get down on your knees, you just feel like pacing around the room or running out the door.

Truth is, life can be hard.  And the other truth is that, prayer can feel hard too.  We know it's the key to changed emotions.  We know it's the doorway to meeting with God.  And yet, somehow, sometimes we just cannot seem to get ourselves into that place emotionally and open our mouths and let the words of our heart flow out.

That's when written prayers are a real God-send.  Read these prayers out loud, in faith, and KNOW that God most definitely hears you and receives your heart and He will work out a solution for you in accordance to your prayers.

Stay strong, friend, because trials never last forever and when you get through it, you'll be overwhelmed by the miracles God did for you.
