The superhero TV series "Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel" is returning for its second season. A trailer was already released, and it gave some clue as to the possible episodes that will dominate the series.

The trailer was uploaded to the official Power Rangers YouTube channel on Oct. 6. It was roughly a minute long, and it was already revealed that there would only be six episodes.

After the initial introduction, the trailer showed a thrilling scene wherein the power rangers are tied up. The villains are at a definite advantage, and the heroes are struggling to break free. Fans are kept in the dark, instead of showing what happens next, the trailer moves on to hint more explosive battles.

"Power Rangers" will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018. Alongside its anniversary, the show will also be returning to Nickelodeon in 2018. No specific dates regarding "Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel's" release have been revealed as of yet.

A popular American franchise, "Power Rangers" debuted in 1993 with "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." It remains a superhero show that aimed to appeal to children. The show was set in a small, fiction town in California.

Astronauts discovered life in space and accidentally release an evil sorceress named Rita Repulsa onto earth. A sage named Zordon, the person who sealed Rita away in the past, learns about the unfortunate turn of events. In retaliation Zordon chooses five teens to become the Power Rangers and protect the world from evil. He then gives the teens the equipment and means to battle Rita and save the planet.

The episodes consist of the teens working together and harnessing their newfound skills to fight off aliens. They also rely on giant robots to battle the rest of Rita's army.

The following seasons of "Power Ranger" introduced different colored rangers into the mix, but it always stuck to the same formula that "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" had set up.

At the end of the day, "Power Rangers" continued to be a franchise about teens with giant robots protecting the world from extra-terrestrial threats. 25 seasons have come and gone, and "Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel," does not stray far from the trend despite the added glamour.
