Pokémon fans are still nursing their disappointment when the highly-anticipated reveal of "Pokémon Z" didn't happen at the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015, but hope is not lost since there are still several upcoming events where the game can be unveiled.

The latest rumors regarding the sequel to "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" claim that the game will be unveiled after the release of the upcoming "Pokémon: Hoopa & The Clash Of Ages" movie. The film is slated to debut in Japanese theaters on July 18, which is why fans are already on the lookout for the possible announcement regarding the next installment in the world-popular video game series.

Reports claim that the rumored "Pokémon Z" game will come out with several graphic enhancements, just like those that were first introduced in the sixth-generation Pokémon games, "Pokémon Omega Ruby" and "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire." It will also provide several improvements to the game's Kalos formula.

Meanwhile, early speculations said that the upcoming "Pokémon Z" game is scheduled to be released in February 2016 since the "Super Mystery Dungeon" game will come out later this year. A report posted by iDigital Times explained that the delay is because Nintendo wants to keep fans excited for the release of both titles.

Releasing a new "Pokémon" game in 2016 is also a good idea since the franchise will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. Releasing something as big as a new game title like "Pokémon Z" during its milestone anniversary next year could be a very logical move for both The Pokémon Company and Nintendo.

However, both the game developer and the game publisher are still mum about the validity of all these reports.
