Pokemon Go's February Community Day is just around the corner and once again, players will have a rare opportunity to stock up on a certain creature. This time, the monthly event will be centered on Dratini, the lovable snake-like Dragon-Type Pokemon that ultimately evolves into the powerhouse Dragonite.

As usual, players can expect increased sightings of the said Pokemon but there are also other bonuses Niantic has prepared. According to Game Rant, Community Day also offers triple stardust with any Pokemon and three-hour lures. The game is speculated to release a Shiny Dratini or Dragonite into the wild, as well, although that is purely speculative at this point. Either way, what trainers should really not miss is getting a Dragonite with the special move bonus Draco Meteor.

To obtain the super-powerful Dragon-Type attack, Pokemon Go players simply need to evolve a Dratini or Dragonair all the way to a Dragonite during the festivity. Those who are short on Dragonite candy can start storing Pinap Berries in advance, which doubles the number of candies given on catches and use them as much as possible in catching Dratinis.

For reference, 30 Dratini catches are needed to have enough Candy to evolve a Dratini all the way into a Dragonite. With Pinap Berries, that drops to just 18 Dratini catches. Trainers may also stock up Rare Candy via Battle Raids as it can be used towards evolution or Power-Ups for any Pokemon.

Pokemon GO's February Community Day event lasts for only three hours, with times varying by region. It will start on Saturday, Feb 24, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. JST (GMT +9) for the Asia-Pacific region; 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0) for Europe, Africa, and Middle East; and 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST (GMT -8) for the United States.
