Pokémon Cafe opening soon in Japan; menu and reservation details revealed

The whole "Pokémon" franchise has seen success — from the anime series and card game to the nearly annual release of new "Pokémon" games. This time around, the franchise has branched out to a restaurant. A certain Pokémon Cafe will soon be opening its doors to assumably dozens and maybe hundreds of customers all craving for Pokémon-themed dishes and drinks.

There is a long list of available food that fans can expect when they get to the cafe. They serve Eevee Burgers, Mimikyu's Choco Banana Crepe and Pikachu's Greedy plate to name a few. Combine that with equally curious drinks such as an Eevee float drink or a Gengar Smoothie and players will definitely feel satisfied both in hunger and in sight. The interior of the Pokémon Cafe, of course, has a lot of related Pokémon symbols like the ceiling lights forming the shape of a Pokeball.

Given all these kinds of food and drinks that fans will want to try, anyone can easily expect a long line outside the cafe. For that reason, the Pokémon Cafe, at least for now, is only accepting reservations on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reservations can be easily done on their website, that is, if the schedule is not full yet. Reservations can be made within a month from March 5 to April 5, 2018.

In case there are still slots for reservations, note as well that people will need to order at least two items from their menu in order to proceed with the reservation. As for the food itself, while it is easy to expect the dishes to be tasty, they are also expected to be quite pricey. After all, the demand for the cafe will definitely be high. Besides, theme-cafes in general usually cost a lot more than regular.

The Pokémon Cafe is set to open March 14, 2018. Unfortunately, it is only available in Japan for now. No word on whether it would set up branches outside the country.
