There are only a few days remaining in the month of March, which means that the PlayStation Plus subscribers have another batch of free games to look forward to. The PS Plus catalog for April 2018 will be filled with new PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita games in the coming days, although Sony has yet to confirm which titles will make it to the cut next month. Based on the popular predictions, the PlayStation Plus lineup will be led by a huge AAA title, such as the remastered versions of "God of War 3" and "The Last of Us."
It can be noted that Sony has already started adding popular video games in the PlayStation Plus free games lineup over the last few months. For one, the March 2018 free games list includes not only one, but two giant PS4 exclusive game titles, "Ratchet & Clank" and "Bloodborne."
Back in October 2017, the PS Plus subscribers were delighted to see "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" as a free-to-play title in the catalog. It is believed that Sony will surprise the public once again this April by having one or two hit video games in the list.
The first in the list of possible AAA titles in the PlayStation Plus April 2018 lineup is "The Last of Us Remastered," which has been included in the PS4 exclusive game sale on the PlayStation Network. It is likely that Naughty Dog's 2013 hit video game will make it to the PS Plus free games catalog for the month of April, given that Sony has already offered the title as a promo. This is also a perfect way to promote "The Last of Us Part 2," which is expected to drop very soon.
The next worthy candidate for a spot in the PlayStation Plus April 2018 free games list is another remastered title, "God of War 3." Just like "The Last of Us," the game has an upcoming sequel that will be released on April 20.
Sony could use the PS Plus next month as an opportunity to promote "God of War 4," and it will not be surprising to see "God of War 3 Remastered" in the lineup. The PS Plus regions outside Europe and North America already featured "God of War 3 Remastered," and it is just a matter of time until the game becomes available in the United States territory.
