"Player Unknown's Battleground's" new update is causing some serious performance issues.

According to PCGamesN, "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds" already had issues, to begin with, but after they updated the game, players suffered from screen rate drops. Mostly these drops would happen when players were trying to do important activities such as looting bodies or trying to look at the map or walk towards certain areas. The problem was frustrating and widespread enough that players went to online forums such as Reddit to discuss the brand new problems plaguing their online game time.

Different players seemed to experience different glitches. Some would lag the moment they tried to open their inventory, while others were plagued by the infamous "rubberbanding," getting flung back to areas they'd already passed, making progression and merely the act of walking forward a chore.

Some players stated that areas took forever to load, while others talked about massive drops in frame rate that made it difficult for them to do anything in-game. Others complained about the game constantly crashing whenever they tried to load it, with other users stating they made Reddit accounts just so they could ask about what was currently going on in "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds."

Reportedly, the problems have been going on for over a week now, with many of the game's players wondering when the bugs will come to an end and when they will finally be able to play their game without the horrible frame rate drops. The issues seemed to vary between different players, with a majority complaining about the lag and the screen rate issues.

The other problems seemed to happen to fewer players.

"Player Unkown's Battleground's" is a battle royale-esque shooter that pits players against one another in different areas. It was developed and published by Bluehole Inc and was released in March of 2017. Since then the game has risen in popularity, however, it has received mixed reviews due to a problem with cheating and some in-game technical problems and bugs.
