"Pillars of Eternity" is a fantasy roleplaying game that was released in 2015. The game was a hit among RPG fans of similar titles such as "Baldur's Gate" and "Icewind Dale," and fans will be happy to know that Obsidian Entertainment (the game's developers) announced that a definitive edition would be coming on Nov. 15.

The developers announced, that the definitive edition, aside from coming with the main campaign and White March expansion pack, would also include brand new items, all-premium extras, and additional content in the form of the Deadfire expansion pack which was based on the upcoming Pillars of Eternity II game that will reportedly be released sometime in the future.

The game will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux. And Obsidian Entertainment mentioned that:

"The new Deadfire Pack DLC will also be made available for free to all existing (and future) owners of Pillars of Eternity on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs to thank them for their ongoing support of what has become one of the world's most beloved RPGs."

Fans aren't just going to receive brand new content, but a treat from the developers as well.

Freebies aside, the White March expansion pack includes both the first and second parts and comes with new creatures, abilities, areas, items and more. In this DLC players will also be assisting the Mayor of Stalwart in a quest to reawaken the white forges of Durgan's Battery.

The definitive edition will also come with the freebies in the royal addition, this includes the original soundtrack, a digital collector's book, and a novella among other things.

"Pillars of Eternity" is a roleplaying game that allows players to choose between six different classes and several factions. The player decides who their character wants to be, and what role they want to take in the ever-changing world. They will be able to side with different groups throughout the story, and due to this carve out the path they want their player character to take.
