Only two episodes are remaining in the sixth and final season of NBC's family drama "Parenthood," which means that the Bravermans are preparing to say their last goodbyes.

In episode 12 airing on Thursday, the Bravermans will welcome a new member of the family as Amber (Mae Whitman) goes into labor. The official synopsis of the episode titled "We Made it Through the Night" reads:

Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) and Zeek (Craig T Nelson) make a decision concerning Zeek's health. Sarah (Lauren Graham) makes a big decision and shares some good news with her dad. Adam (Peter Krause) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) clash over differing business opinions, and Adam stands his ground, deepening the tension between the brothers. Amber rushes to the hospital with labor pains, and the Bravermans flock to her side."

Will Zeek be well enough to see Amber's baby?

Meanwhile, one of the recurring guest actors felt sad when he found out that he will no longer appear in the series finale of "Parenthood."

John Corbett, the actor who portrayed the role of Amber's father and Sarah's ex-husband Seth Holt, was disappointed when the producers of the show cancelled his supposed appearance for the last episode of the long-running family drama. The actor shared his frustration during last weekend's Television Critics Association's winter press tour, saying that "Parenthood" showrunner Jason Katims called him to say that they had to cut his scene because of time constraints.

"They flew me all the way from New York [to L.A.] to do a scene with Lauren [Graham] and it was such a good scene. I got to see [Amber's] baby and they had to cut it for time. I was super bummed," Corbett said.

The last two episodes of the show will finally give light to the prospect of Sarah and Hank's (Ray Romano) relationship, Luncheonette's future, as well as Zeek's dwindling health condition.

"Parenthood" season 6 episode 12 airs on Jan. 22, while the series finale titled "May God Bless and Keep You Always" will be aired on Jan. 29.
