Starz has finally put an end to "Droughtlander" by releasing the first look photos from "Outlander" season 3.

In the new images, fans get a glimpse at how Claire (Caitriona Balfe) has been doing since she came back to 1948 and reunited with Frank (Tobias Menzies). Even though she returned pregnant with Jamie's (Sam Heughan) baby, the photos show that Claire and Frank were able to save their relationship since they are still together over 10 years later. Jaimie, meanwhile, looks as dashing as ever in one image where he is seen riding a horse after surviving the battle of Culloden. The photos appear to have been captured when the cast was in Scotland last year.

Season 3 is based on "Voyager," the third book in Diana Gabaldon's best-selling novels. The author recently told fans via Twitter that she will not make cameos this season, but she was able to visit the set in South Africa. Production was moved earlier this year to the Cape Town studios, where Starz's "Black Sails" was filmed. The "Outlander" cast have used the pirate drama's old ships to film the part where Claire and Jaime embark on a journey to the Caribbean.

Despite her busy schedule as an author and consultant for "Outlander," Gabaldon continues to have time for fans of the hit Starz drama. Avalon Waterways announced on Thursday that they will operate a theme cruise in 2018 with Gabaldon. Fans will have a chance to mingle with Gabaldon as she signs books during the voyage, which will take place in Europe's Danube River.

The trip spans 11 days and will start on June 5, 2018. There will be a land stay in Prague, where most of the "Outlander" scenes were filmed. Stops will be made in Germany, Austria and Budapest — the end point of the voyage.

The third season of "Outlander" premieres September 2017 on Starz.
