After announcing that César Domboy will portray the role of the grown-up version of Fergus in "Outlander" season 3, Starz revealed the name of another new cast member.

New reports revealed that British actress Lauren Lyle had been tapped to portray the role of Marsali, the eldest daughter of Laoghaire MacKenzie (Nell Hudson).

In the books written by Diana Gabaldon, Marsali was known to be an extremely determined woman who will do anything she sets her mind to, even if it is against her mother's wishes.

The books also revealed that Marsali will be married to Fergus while they were away from Scotland to rescue Jamie Frasier's (Sam Heughan) nephew Young Ian (John Bell) from the pirates.

Before being cast in "Outlander," Lyle previously starred in the British medical drama,"Holby City." She will also appear in Jimmy Govern's "Broken" which will be aired on BBC. Domboy, on the other hand, appeared in "The Borgias."

Other new cast members include Australian actor David Berry from "A Place To Call Home." He will portray the role of the grown-up version of Lord John William Grey in season 3.

Meanwhile, executive producer Ronald D. Moore told Entertainment Weekly that season 3 will feature a significant departure from Gabaldon's "Voyager," where the third season of the series is be based from. The season will also start with the scenes showing the epic Battle of Culloden.

According to Moore, the premiere of season 3 will allow fans to see what happened in the bloody battle between the British army and the highlanders. "We should give the audience some sense of what happened on that moor," he stated.

Moore also revealed that shooting the epic battle scenes in Scotland back in August could be considered as "one of our biggest set pieces" in the series.

Starz has yet to reveal the premiere date of "Outlander" season 3, but the series is expected to return in 2017.
