It seems like there will be a lot of breathtaking scenes in the upcoming episodes of "Outlander" season 2.

Based on tweets from the show's actors, the cast and crew experienced a lot of challenges on the set of "Outlander" season 2.

Sam Heughan, who portrays the role of Jamie Fraser in the series, previously shared that they experienced an amazing week on the set despite the challenging weather conditions. He also revealed that they shot some of their difficult scenes during the tough weather.

Meanwhile, series producer Matthew B. Roberts posted a photo of a pair of muddy shoes while filming on one of the sets of Starz's historical time-travel drama based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon. But they seemed to enjoy their time on the set while filming the episodes for the upcoming installment of the series.

Earlier reports claimed that most of the scenes for "Outlander" season 2 are set in Paris, France, as Jamie and Claire (Catriona Balfe) will try to infiltrate the French court to prevent the Jacobite risings by stopping the funding that France's King Louis XV (Lionel Lingelser) will provide to Prince Charles Stuart (Andrew Gower). They will still continue filming in several locations all over Scotland, Prague, and England.

Meanwhile, the search for the actress who will portray the role of Brianna in "Outlander" season 2 continues. Brianna is one of the important characters of the series since she is the biological daughter of Jaimie and Claire, but will be raised by Claire's modern-day husband Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies).

Meanwhile, former actor Richard Kahan revealed on Twitter that he wrote an episode in "Outlander" season 2, and author Diana Gabaldon liked his script.

"Outlander" season 2 is slated to premiere sometime in 2016.
