The end is near for the Clone Club as the production for the fifth and final season of "Orphan Black" continues to be underway. But BBC America offered a sneak peek of the show's production to keep fans excited for its return in 2017.

The 20-minute video was aired live through the show's official Facebook page Tuesday morning. It showcased the events happening behind the scenes while Emmy Award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany filmed for one of the last 10 episodes of the series in a wooded area where one of her characters, Helena, was seen hunting a rabbit.

In a press release posted on Entertainment Weekly, BBC America president Sarah Barnett said that the sneak peek is their way of expressing their gratitude to their fans. "As the team reunites to shoot season 5, we all wanted to invite the Clone Club to something pretty special — a virtual set visit with Facebook Live. This innovative event marks the beginning of our celebrations leading up to the final season of this unique show in 2017," the network executive stated.

Aside from the sneak peek, the network also announced the return of some of the major cast members to bid goodbye to their roles in "Orphan Black" season 5. The list includes Jordan Gavaris as Sarah's (Maslany) foster brother Felix, Kristian Bruun as Alison's (Maslany) husband Donnie, Maria Doyle Kennedy as Sarah and Felix's foster mother Mrs. S, Kevin Hanchard as Detective Art Bell, Ari Millen to portray multiple roles under the Castor Clone, Josh Vokey as Cosima's (Maslany) friend Scott Smith, Skyler Wexler as Sarah's daughter Kira, James Frain as Ferdinand Chevalier, Calwyn Shurgold as Hellwizard, as well as Evelyne Brochu, Cosima's girlfriend Delphine.

The series will also introduce several new characters in the upcoming season. One of them is Detective Engers (Elyse Levesque), a corrupt Neolution cop. Other new characters include Rachel's mysterious new consultant named Mr. Frontenac (Andrew Moodie), a young islander named Mud (Jenessa Grant), Kira's new homeroom teacher Mr. Mitchell (Simu Liu), and P.T. Westmoreland (Stephen McHattie), the legendary founder of Neolution.

"Orphan Black" season 5 is expected to air sometime in 2017.
