When "Orphan Black" season 4 commences, Mark will still be around. Rudy has already met his demise but the Castor clones are yet to be extinct and fans will see at least one survivor from this clan in action in the new season of the sci-fi series.
"We're not finished with our male clones," executive producer Graeme Manson told TV Line. "Mark's still out there and Ari Millen's still in the cast for season 4, I guarantee," he went on to say.
Mark has proved himself an ally to Sarah, and for the first time, it felt like he is someone actually worthy of trust and that he belonged to a real family. This will be the underlying theme in "Orphan Black" season 4 that Manson believes could whip up a whole new season.
"If we can find our own cure, can we cure Mark? Is that a possibility for next season? Is Mark the one brother who's earned the right to call himself a brother?" Manson said in an attempt to map out Mark's future.
For the longest time, the clones have been looking for the cure that will put a stop to their deaths. Rumors have it that the Castor clones may actually have what the Leda clones needed all along (the latest to die was Cosima) while the sestras may have just the thing the Castor clones require to survive.
In "Orphan Black" season 4, this cure will still be as elusive as it can be with clone after clone dropping dead quickly. With Mark and Sarah working together, there may be hope that this curse will be eliminated for good.
Just recently, the show paid tribute to all the characters that passed away so far in the series with Delphine being the latest casualty remembered in the video titled "In Memoriam."
"Orphan Black" season 4 will premiere on BBC in April.
