It seems like three gorgeous beings will move to New Orleans when "The Originals" returns for season 3.
Early this month, TV Line dropped the news about the casting orders for three new characters who will join the supernatural drama spin-off on The CW.
According to the report, the name of one of the new characters is Aurora. She is allegedly a sexy vampire who can easily change moods and turn into a destructive force in a snap. Another goodlooking vampire who will join the character roster of "The Originals" next season is Lucien, a smart and manipulative one whose main goal is to exact revenge against the Mikaelson siblings.
The only human addition next season is the character named Will Kinney, a handsome detective who wants to put criminals behind bars. But unknown to him, the criminals that he is chasing after have supernatural abilities and lives by feeding on blood.
Movie Pilot added several speculations regarding the additional characters, saying that Aurora will most likely be a new love interest for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) since Cami (Leah Pipes) never reciprocated his feelings. On the other hand, Detective Kinney might catch the attention of Cami. But this could cause him his life if Klaus' jealousy streak gets the best of him.
However, The CW has yet to announce the names of the actors who will fill in the roles of the new characters for "The Originals" season 3.
Meanwhile, the network will present the third season of "The Originals" in this week's San Diego Comic-Con.
Fans would like to know if there is a chance for Klaus and Cami to be together in the upcoming season since their attraction has been played for quite a while in the series. A lot of people would also like to know if the duration of the Crescent Curse will persist for a long period of time as Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will remain in her werewolf form because of it. More information about Freya's (Riley Voelkel) involvement with her siblings, as well as Davina's (Danielle Campbell) plot to take revenge against them are also expected to be discussed during the annual pop culture convention.
"The Originals" season 3 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 8, on The CW.
