Poussey's (Samira Wiley) death is expected to open up a lot of drama in "Orange Is the New Black" season 5.

Speculations claimed that Poussey's death will affect a lot of people inside the Litchfield Penitentiary, including Daya (Dascha Polanco).

At the end of season 4, Daya was seen angrily pointing a gun towards McCullough (Emily Tarver) and Humps (Michael Torpey). Will Daya follow the encouragements of her inmates to shoot Humps due to her anger over her friend's death?

On the other hand, The Gamers Drop also speculated that that Taystee (Danielle Brooks) will also attempt to avenge the death of her best friend.

Taystee was the one who first heard that CO Baxter Bayley (Alan Aisenberg) was not charged for accidentally killing Poussey. She was also the instigator of the riot that happened at the end of the season when she informed her inmates that Bayley is being let off. Since she and Poussey shared a deep friendship inside the penitentiary, it is not impossible to see her seek revenge for her death.

Meanwhile, other speculations claimed that another major death will happen when "Orange Is The New Black" returns for season 5. According to reports, Piper (Taylor Schilling) may possibly meet her untimely end soon.

The list of Piper's enemies continues to pile up over the past seasons because of her actions. In season 3, she set up her lover Stella (Ruby Rose) by planting contraband items in her area after she found out that Stella had been stealing money from her panty business. She and her on-again, off-again girlfriend, Alex (Laura Prepon), were also in danger after she killed one of Kubra's (Eyas Younis) enforcers Aydin Bayat (Juri Henley-Cohn). This could mean that one of them will haunt her back in the future.

Netflix has yet to announce the release date of "Orange Is the New Black" season 5, but the series is expected to come back in 2017.
